i'm house sitting for derek&jan ma for 3 weeks and well i survived my first night at the their place... just.

it took me a few minutes to unlock the door, i kept unlocking then locking it again, i still haven't figured it out
i couldn't open the washer/dryer door, and it felt like i was breaking the handle
the fridge is broken and now the new one is only being delivered on the 18th...
i thought the off button was the volume button on the remote control
i tried to use the duvet cover as a fitted sheet
i couldn't find the keys when i was leaving the house and realised they were still in the door!

i'm seriously not that bad at home! though i did have some help... mandylee!!
she cooked a yummmyumm dinner - curry and brown rice
she ate the icecream i didn't like and bought me a new one
she held my bags and supplied the tissues while i made a mess of myself eating a fruit tip icy
she washed the dishes
she helped make the bed

...and
we watched movies
went shopping at 1am and came back to watch another movie
bumped into jess+kimberley on the street
ate chocolate for breakfast
woken up by the drilling upstairs at 9am
fed killer (hamster) 1cm of malt... it was on the instructions!
watered basil

not bad ay? hah... realised i forgot a lot of stuff at home, mainly shoes and bags... so have to do another trip to the dark side haha!!
